A bunch of you have asked me what kinds of things I eat. First of all, I eat out A LOT! (I seriously need to hire a chef–I LOVE food made for me! 😉 ) I will make of list of those places I go, and the healthy options there in a later post. 🙂
But in this post, I thought I’d list the 8 things I always get at the grocery store. 🙂
1-) YOGURT I love the Chobani brand because it has so much protein in it! Rustin and I always put fruit and granola in our yogurt. Parfaits–yummy!! 🙂
2-) ROTISSERIE CHICKEN I have this thing about cooking chicken–it grosses me out, so I have to have it already cooked. Haha!
3-) SNAP PEAS & CHERRY TOMATOES I have to have little veggies to snack on. I’m like a little kid at church–if it’s not a Ziploc of veggies, it’s a Ziploc of Lucky Charms. 😉
4-) EGGS I love to make either scrambled eggs with cheese and milk, or omelets with green peppers and ham! (Gosh, I’m getting hungry writing this!) 😉
5-) CEREAL My pantry is ALWAYS stocked with cereal! It’s just so easy!! My favorite kinds are Honey Bunches of Oats, Life, and Cinnamon Chex.
6-) APPLESAUCE, PINEAPPLE ORANGE JUICE, FRUIT, ETC. I’m such a fan of these carby treats! 😉 I love fruit any which way it comes. Rustin knows when we get dessert that I always want the fruity kind of whatever it is. 😉
7-) WATERBOTTLES My idea of a “cold one” is an icy fresh bottle of Arrowhead that was in the freezer for just the right amount of time haha! 😉 HEAVENLY!
😎 ASPARAGUS On a singles’ trip to Lake Powell a couple years ago I discovered the greatest thing ever: baked asparagus covered in olive oil and garlic salt. It’s Rustin’s favorite thing that I make–haha! Maybe I should cook more! But it really is awesome! 🙂
So there you have it! My 8 things I always buy at the grocery store! As you can tell, I’m still getting the hang of domesticity. Haha 😉 I hope you all are having a great day! 🙂
